I just bought this product and I received it today in the mail. Before I bought it I was on the phone with an Amazon person that helped me figure out what I needed which was an inverter that could be plugged into the lighter of my car, but sadly as I just opened the box it has two wires that would be plugged into a battery. I do not want to deal with this!! That is why I bought one to be plugged into the lighter!!! Very upset about this. The guy on the line assured me that this came with a lighter function and I would not have to deal with a battery!! Geezee now what I have to send it back??

Highly recommended...and made in USA. Arrived in 2 days, much earlier tahn expected. Light and fairly easy to assemble. Requres 2 people for a few steps. Works great atop our 2004 Totota 4-Runner. We've already used in twice for two 700 mile road trips and it freed up a ton of room in the vehicle so we can comfortably fit all our kids. It holds 4 medium size suit cases nicely. Thanks.

Fits good in my car and I am very pleased. Have had compliments on the seat covers and for the price they are a very good deal.

Will definitely order again from Amazon.

I got two of these under the Duracell brand names and several more Xantrex branded when Amazon had them on sale for about $50 each. They work well for some devices, but don't work at all with some power hungry laptops like my Dell Inspiron 9400/E1705. This particular laptop has an AC adapter rated at 80 watts. Although still under 100 watts, the device runs for about 1 second then shuts off. There is also no direct DC output from the battery which would have made it more versatile. They also don't provide enough power to run an aerobed inflator. But, for $50, it's not a bad deal.

After discovering some output frequency problems with some other model xantrax/duracell inverters, I tested 8 units of this model and was pleasantly surprised that this model still appears to be crystal controlled. Most of the units were within +/- 0.05 Hz of 60 Hz. The worst was 60.14 Hz which is still within a quarter percent of nominal so that isn't too bad. The other new model xantrex (and Jensen brand) inverters I tested had output frequencies ranging from 58 Hz to 64 Hz which is very poor.

I ordered this wrench because it described Newton-meter measurement. Here's a quote:

"Hard-to-find lower torque settings in 3/8" drive; 10-80 foot-pounds (13 - 108 Newton-meters)"

In actuality, it has Ft-lbs and m-Kgs and comes with a conversion chart. Which is precisely the reason why I didn't order the Sunex torque wrench.

This wrench is crap. Use your money to get a better quality brand.
