I have owned this gauge for 2 months now. It does everything it says it will, is easy to navigate and unobtrusive on the dash. Incidentally, if you own a Hyundai, you cannot use the rear view mirror mount kit. I have mine on the dash of my Hyundia Entourage (mini-van).
I bought it primarily for fuel monitoring. I have increased my MPG by 60% since using the ScanGauge II. Having a real time read out of my fuel usage has been an excellent incentive to drive more conservatively. It has also enabled me to determine the effect of A/C, fan, and electronic accesories have on my MPG. I have also made use of the scan feature a couple of times to interrogate the system. I strongly recommend this product to anyone who wants to increase their fuel efficiency or who likes having as much information about their vehicle as possible (particularly before going to the mechanic).
I picked up the Meguiar's car wax kit and it works great. Ok, so I live in Atlanta and I like to ride dowtown and show my ride off like everyone else does (don't trip) anyway, after I was the ride I throw some of this car wax kit on there and when I ride out, the car shines and gives off that fresh waxed look. The good thing is that it holds the look for the entire day while riding and getting road dirt on the car, it still looks nice. It's a spray on waw so, after you wash the car and dry it off, you just mist on the wax and it looks great and repels rain too. YMMV. NEOSOUL06.
It removes minor / medium scratches completely. Heavy scratch, it fixes it to where it's barely noticeable.
I just use the first formula cream on any scratch, because it does the job much quicker than 2nd cream, and then use 2nd cream to clean the mass first cream made. Works like a charm.
One thing, you have to really put pressure on the noticeable scratch to remove it.
Anyways, this isn't some scamming product you see on informacial, I'm pleased with the result.
I hope never to use this product, but it is good to have in a state with a lot of lakes, ponds and bogs around twisting country roads and no street lights. Product fits nicely in door pocket, is sturdy and light weight. Handle grips well and would be easy to use in an emergency.
We haven't moved too many items with the shoulder dolly yet. We purchased it shorly after our big move (yah, a little late, I know). We used it to move two small nightstands and a very large dresser upstairs after there were refurnished. Still trying to figure out how to properly used it; mainly how far from the ground and how to balance the load. Being a girl with weak arms, it sure helps to carry the load with your whole body. Items still feel heavy, but your hands and arms hurt a lot less and my legs don't feel sore at all. It can slow you down your move as you have to set up & take down the dolly for each item you are lifting, but it feels like a more natural way to move objects! Wish we had purchased it a few weeks earlier so we would have had it to move the entire house!
It's alright. I wish it would heat up faster. However, even when it isn't heating at all, the material feels warmer to my bum on a cold morning than the actual car seat, so there's a plus. I hate how poorly it stays in place. It should have a rubberized or sticky backside so I wouldn't have to battle each time I get into the car to avoid it sliding over. Yes it has straps, but they are weak.
Several of the Xantrex inverters including this one have much looser frequency specs compared to the last generation of inverters which were typically 60 Hz +/- 0.01%. Many of the current crop of these inverters have 60 +/-4 Hz which is 60 Hz +/- 7%. To be fair, I've noticed a number of inverters made by other companies also have relaxed this spec. I measured the output frequency of several models and found their outputs to range from 58 Hz to 64 Hz. I didn't test to see if the frequency changed with temperature, input voltage, load, or other other factors. I suppose the reason for this change in specs is that these manufacturers are now cost cutting to the extent of eliminating a 30 cent quartz crystal. The frequency variation is most likely to cause problems (speed changes and overheating) in devices with AC motors, but it will also cause inaccuracies in devices that use the AC line frequency for timing purposes.
I have owned no less than 15 different nozzles over the years. One has been worse than the next. The ones you drop after you use which are made of plastic simply break. Then there are the ones with the several settings and trigger which constrict the flow so much that you would think it needed a dose of flomax! I have used many types in between. This unit is simply the best. I never realized the pressure I had restricted by using the other ones. When I turned the spigot on all the way, I could get a good steady stream over 20 feet no problem at all. I drop it after use without worrying about cracking it.
Good set of tools for very small work. Many options and seem like good quality.
very fair price for replacement after i stepped on my original part. construction of the tip could use slightly higher durability, but overall a fine product. highly recommend.
